Hospilux & AB Contern: a local sports partnership

Hospilux, the leading supplier of medical equipment and supplies in Luxembourg for more than 35 years, is proud to announce today its support of the AB Contern basketball club within the framework of a 3-year partnership.

As a company based in Contern, Hospilux is committed to supporting the local community and is therefore pleased to accompany the development of AB Contern. In terms of physical and mental health, the importance of regular physical activity is undeniable today and this is another reason to commit to this sports club.

The annual grant will allow the club to support its youth and adult training activities as well as competitions and travel.

AB Contern is a club of the Luxembourg elite, both with its men's and women's teams, and is a club that trains young people for a long time. Sports clubs have this double role, education in sport and health that this activity brings, but also the creation of links in society through the development of collective sense Hospilux is really proud of this collaboration, says Nicolas Henckes, general manager of Hospilux.

Simone Schroeder, president of AB Contern, said: Our club has been in contact with Hospilux for many years, mainly through the club's doctors and physiotherapists, and this contact was intensified during the Covid crisis, when the club needed all kinds of equipment to be able to carry out the numerous tests for its players and spectators every weekend when the championships were resumed. We have thus been able to appreciate the professionalism and pragmatism of Hospilux and we enter with confidence into this new partnership.
